Founded in 2014, AdmitHub combines artificial intelligence and human expertise to provide all students with free college guidance. Specifically, students chat with Oli™, a virtual college counselor, for ongoing support on the path to and through college. Thanks to the acquisition of Reference Service Press, AdmitHub will extend its college matching algorithm to 30,000 U.S. financial aid programs, offering students a valuable resource to help them figure out how to finance their education.

Reference Service Press was founded in 1977 by Gail A. Schlachter, who was inducted into the California Library Hall of Fame in 2015. Simba Report on Directory Publishing called Reference Service Press “a true success in the world of independent directory publishers,” and both Kaplan Educational Centers and Military.com have hailed the company as “the leading authority on scholarships.”  Reference Service Press has published 25 different financial aid directories for Undergraduates, Grad Students, Professionals, Women, Native Americans, African Americans, Hispanics, and many other demographics.

AdmitHub remains committed to collecting, organizing, and disseminating — in both print and electronic formats — the most current and accurate information available on scholarships, fellowships, loans, grants, awards, internships, and other types of funding opportunities.

About AdmitHub

In addition to helping all students pursue their college dreams, AdmitHub develops branded chatbots for universities to guide prospects and admitted students through application, enrollment and graduation. AdmitHub was founded by Kirk Daulerio and Andrew Magliozzi.

For the three years before founding AdmitHub, Kirk was the Director of Member Relations for The Common Application.

Andrew is AdmitHub’s technical co-founder.  A graduate of Harvard ’05 and Hack Reactor ’13, he is a career edtech entrepreneur who founded and ran Signet Education as well as KarmaNotes.org. He also wrote and published “How to Get into (Your) Harvard: and more college admissions advice.” If you are interested in getting our latest updates, sign up for our newsletter here.
