USC Aiken wanted to find a way to define themselves as a separate entity from the University of South Carolina flagship campus (and other competitors) to better engage students and increase enrollment. In a state with a decreasing number of high school graduates, they were experiencing intense enrollment competition. USC Aiken also found that admitted students were not taking timely action on their enrollment steps.

To take on these challenges, USC Aiken launched their fun, spunky, and helpful chatbot, Ace!
