Thursday, January 30th at 2:00pm EST / 1:00pm CST
Presented by Katie Condon and Mandi Lagergren from the University of West Florida, with Kirk Daulerio, Co-Founder and Chief Evangelist at AdmitHub.
Data has shown that the academic profile of students as they enter college, among other important factors, heavily influences retention and graduation rates.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of West Florida saw this as an opportunity to innovate their recruitment and enrollment efforts, introducing an AI chatbot named “Argie” in 2017 to communicate with prospective students.
In this webinar, you’ll hear from UWF how they identified goals for this new form of communication, what strategies they used to work towards these goals, and the results they’ve seen since implementing Argie, including a 6.7% increase in first-year retention rates.
You’ll learn proven strategies that you can bring to your own campus, such as:
- Building a sense of belonging on campus even before students arrive
- Gauging student interest at scale with impressive survey response rates via text
- Developing a student-centric communication plan to help students navigate and nudge them to action
- Promoting on-campus events and increasing enrollment
